My recent visit to Japan is a real eye-opening experience. Athough we have initial fears of missing the Cherry Blossoms. We are glad to see them in many spots with full blooms.
These gorgeous flowers also known as Sakura is a symbol of Japan and have hundreds of varities. Various sakuras bloom at different times in different region throughout Japan. They begin blooming in January and usually end in May.
The Japanese enjoy eating home-cooked meals or take-out food under cherry trees. The family gatherings under the trees of the Cherry Blossoms are commonly seen in the parks to enjoy the breeze with fragrances from the cherry blossoms.
