Black Sea

Crimea is a fascinating region to explore, as well as a great place to spend a vacation Enjoy immersing ourselves in the clear waters watching the sun rise. The waves can be very strong at times and splash over the stalls along the coast. Crowds are relaxing themselves along the beach. They are mostly on swimming attires walking along the road. Even the some stall-keeper are on their swim suit too. Nobody seems to be working hard for their living.

Although none of us is able to speak their language, we manage to buy stuff from these stalls at bargained price. Stalls are selling various type of goods from clothing, scarves, swimming related stuffs, sea foods (live or dried) , wine, liquor, beer, honey comb etc.

Discover Yalta in Ukraine

Journey to Yalta (Ukraine) Our first impression on arrival of Ukraine at Simferorpol airport is the country is strict in law and order. The airport is well guarded by security guards armed with guns. Photo taking are prohibited in the airport. However, we are able to be clear the custom without much difficulties with the help of the local representatives.

We were brought to our hotel, Jasime Villa in Almond Grove, a brand new apartment- style hotel made up of several 3 storey blocks of buildings. Our group of 23 people have occupied 3 blocks with 4 units in a each block.. In every block, there is a large living room on the ground floor with all new furniture, fittings and other utilities.. These are newly built apartment for sale and rental. We are fortunate enough to be the first guests to occupy the premises. However, other facility like swimming pool is not operative yet. We are staying in a unit at 3rd floor facing the Black Sea.

Although, our hotel is located on the hilltop, we are able to go downhill by the stairs and walk along the coast of the Black Sea within 3 minutes. On the way downhill, we see the beautiful view of the roaring black sea.
